Dr. Becker, a Certified Low Vision Specialist, regularly works with the Michigan Commission for the Blind, Michigan Department of Rehabilitation Services, Intermediate School districts, and ophthalmology specialists to provide comprehensive evaluations for patients with permanent vision loss. With a goal to maintain independence at home, school or work, recommendations are made for training and devices such as CCTV’s, magnifiers, telescopes, microscopes and computer softwear. Eligibility for bioptic driving and training is considered on an individual basis.
